Rafidah: Stop the fighting, move on - NST

PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth and Wanita Umno both want the bickering and infighting to stop immediately.

Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said pointing fingers at each other was no longer acceptable, as Umno should be working with other component parties as a family.

"We need to share the blame and fight to regain public confidence as the 'Barisan Nasional' family.

"As one family we need to work together to understand the sentiments of the rakyat."

Rafidah said BN could not afford to move forward on the racial card but had to find a common strategy to serve the rakyat together.

"I am not suggesting that we do away with race-based parties in BN, but we should be able to have a common strategy that would help us deal with the public."
